Small Farm, Global Flavor

Dirt Dance Farm is a small scale farm in Kingston, NY
The farm produces
organically-grown veggies, herbs, flowers.
We feed people and grow community in the
Hudson Valley.

Food, like art, is a powerful catalyst for community and cultural exchange.

As a queer, Chinese-American, Jewish, farmer holding these and many more identities, I tell my mixed-race story through my curation of crops that bring stunning colors, and global food stories to my community here in New York’s Hudson Valley.

Dirt Dance takes a special interest in Asian American heritage crops, as well as unique international specialty crops that I’ve encountered through my travels as an artist and working on other farms. I believe that food, like art, is a powerful catalyst for community and cultural exchange.

Sharing food, we care for each other, just as the land has cared for us.

Growing 100+ varieties of veggies, flowers, & herbs

Diversity is both climate-smart and delicious. I specialize in East Asian heritage crops such as bitter melon, gai lan (芥蓝), chrysanthemum greens (茼蒿), and Szechuan chiles (二荆条). But that’s not all I grow!

Staples include many types of mini bok choy (小白菜), an heirloom butterhead lettuce mix, cooking greens from across East Asia, a wide variety of peas and beans, plus colorful new potatoes. I arrange whimsical flower bouquets and grow unique fragrant herbs like shiso (紫蘇), tulsi and reehan.

I source high quality Asian pantry staples including local tofu, glass noodles and Taiwanese soy sauce from other minority-owned small producers, so that you can complete your meal with the full flavors of home.
